We have a new and prestigious opportunity for a limited number of supporters or local businesses to Name a Seat in Shrewsbury’s historic independent cinema.
Name a Seat and make a lasting impression. A gold plaque with your personal message will be added to your chosen seat. Your support will also help us generate funding for future improvements to the venue.
There are just 81 seats available, on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsorship starts at £250 per seat and you can select either lifetime* or 5-year sponsorship.

FAQs
What happens once I have purchased my sponsorship?
You will immediately receive a Certificate of Sponsorship via email. Within a few days, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the process and next steps with you, including your preferred wording on the name plaque.
Does sponsorship guarantee I will have access to that seat on future events?
Unfortunately, sponsorship does not offer priority booking or guarantee your seat will be available to you on future events.
What size is the plaque and are there any restrictions on the wording I can request?
Seat plaques are a minimum size of 10cm wide x 5cm high and can accommodate up to 10 words per plaque. The Old Market Hall reserves the right to request amendments prior to approval.
When will my plaque be installed?
All name plaques will be installed in 2025 and we will communicate a timeline with all sponsors.
Can I Name a Seat anonynously?
Yes, if you prefer not to display a personal message, we are happy to discuss other options with you.
What happens at the end of my sponsorship?
You will be contacted and offered first option to renew your sponsorship, or can choose to release the seat if you prefer.
*Lifetime sponsorship refers to the lifetime of the seat/cinema.
Venue Levy
Where applicable, advertised ticket prices are inclusive of a venue levy, retained by the venue to sustain and develop the programme of arts and culture in Shropshire.
